Godox LEDP260C video light review – It’s cheap, but is it good?

In this review, I will be taking a look at the Godox LEDP260C, possibly the cheapest decent (on paper) LED panel you can purchase at this moment. While I’m at it, I will tell you what I like and dislike about this cheap video light. The Godox LEDP260C has a total of 128 3300K LEDs and 128 5600K LEDs and reaches 2200 LUX when set to daylight. <div class="wp-block-embed__wrapper"> </div></figure> </div> </div> </div> <div class="gb-button-wrapper gb-button-wrapper-d0ffa115"> <a class="gb-button gb-button-32720c84" href="https://www....

Logitech MX Master 3 Review

The Logitech MX Master 3 is a fantastic mouse for creatives. The endless options the extra buttons give you make it perfect for work inside all of the Adobe Creative Applications. The combination of great hard- and software make the Logitech MX Master 3 an easy mouse to recommend. If you already own the previous model and it still works I couldn’t say if you should upgrade. But if like me your first generation is slowly failing, the latest and greatest is definitely worth it....

I switched to Fujifilm – X-T4 first impressions review

My most recent YouTube videos have all been shot on my brand new camera: The Fujifilm X-T4. And whilst I may have recorded a few videos using it, I’m still very much getting to grips with my new system. Despite that, I want to explain why I went with the Fuji and what my first impressions of this camera are. <div class="wp-block-embed__wrapper"> </div></figure> <div class="gb-button-wrapper gb-button-wrapper-201c3e27"> <a class="gb-button gb-button-bdfa1e9f" href="https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCsI0-Q8XvCuGPw1RPtH8nbA?sub_confirmation=1"><span class="gb-icon"><svg aria-hidden="true" height="1em" width="1em" viewBox="0 0 576 512" xmlns="https://www....

Jaybird Vista follow-up review after 6 months

I just recently revisited one of my first reviews, so it’s only fair I also take another look at my Jaybird Vista earbuds and tell you what I like and don’t like about them. And I can tell you all of that because I have been using them for close to a year now. It’s definitely been at the very least six months, that much I know for sure. I’m still using the Jaybird Vista on an almost daily basis....

Don’t Buy the Drobo 5D3 – Review as a Windows user

Drobo heavily markets their products, such as the Drobo 5D3, heavily towards photographers. I bought one and have regretted that decision ever since. Drobo products aren’t just not worth the price, the company also treats their customers poorly. Let me tell you how it all started and why I wouldn’t recommend the Drobo 5D3 to my worst enemy. Have a look at the following tweets. It should give you a bit of an insight into how Drobo operates and my frustrations with them as a company....

Yi 4K+ review – A worthy successor

One year ago, with the release of their Yi 4K+, Yi Technology stopped catching up to GoPro and became an innovator in the field of action cameras. The successor to the popular but flawed Yi 4K brought with a change that rivals couldn’t yet match: A frame rate of 60 FPS at a 4K resolution (commonly known as 4K60). It took GoPro half a year to match the specifications of the Yi 4K+....

Dell Thunderbolt Dock (TB16) Review: a Promising Look at the Future

Besides charging, the Thunderbolt 3 port on my Dell XPS 15 is mainly used for one thing: To connect to the [Dell Thunderbolt Dock, or short TB16][1]. Using the dock I can connect all of my peripherals I have set up in my home office with just a single cable. No separate USB hubs or chargers and no awkward docking station are needed. One cable does it all. A seemingly perfect setup....

YI 4K Action Camera review – Tiny camera, big action

Note: This review contains affiliate links. Following up from the cheaper YI Action Camera it’s now time to have a look at its bigger (and younger) brother, the YI 4K Action Camera (hereafter YI 4K). I praised many aspects of the first generation YI Action Camera: It’s cheap, the video quality is comparable to a more expensive GoPro, and the app is great. Every negative could be justified by saying “yes, but look at the price!...

YI Action Camera review

I bought myself a YI Action Camera (henceforth just YI) after my misguided purchase of the inhaler-shaped HTC RE Camera (luckily that thing broke pretty quickly and I got a full refund) and have been using it ever since. Even now that I’m also in possession of a YI 4K, I still find myself using it sporadically. A quick glance at the YI and it’s obvious who the makers of this camera (YI Technology) were going after: GoPro....
